2 SEMESTERS OF LIFE PUT SHORT
2 SEMESTERS OF LIFE PUT SHORT
As time is running out for me to stay in montreal and with a bit of free spare time this summer(well, with me procrastinating my thesis work) , I have decided to start an online journal to take down my experience in montreal.
Fall is gone, Winter is over and Spring has just passed ..it's already SUMMER!! Though I find it hard to believe that two-thirds of my degree is gone just like that, there is no denying that I am left with only half a year before I bid farewell once again to Montreal, to the four seasons and to my student life.
I have to try really hard to think about what has happened, what I have done ever since I came back to Montreal.
I started looking back at my photos.

Not much were taken during the semester year. Studio was enough to keep me busy. The other reason that I will put the blame on is the winter which kept me indoors most of the time. At least I'm glad that site visits have allowed me to explore montreal quite a bit and there were still some pictures for my recollection.
Then there were the few but memorable events like Chinese New Year, New Year's Eve countdown, Easter and of course BIRTHDAYS! Birthdays are always the best excuse for us to have celebrations.
There was a December break where my Singaporean friend, Ivy, came over to visit me and spent Christmas together. It was funny but a dream coming true when I withnessed how my Singapore and Montreal life converged for that fleeting but memorable two weeks.
What is most extraordinary is the things and events that have happened over this what-seems-to-be hardly a month's time ever since my holiday begins. Potlucks after potlucks, one gathering after another..it seemed more like a year of events than a month's. Everyone went crazy snapping pics and somehow I have developed the habit of always holding on to my camera whereever I go just because things happen so unexpectedly. It was as if we were making up for the lost time during the semester year.

Finally, here I am now doing all these recollections of events...trying to piece up my scattered memories together at the same time as I move on to withness newer day-to-day events.
